Pet Portraits

Amy’s Pet Portraits are a beautiful way to celebrate a beloved pet, capturing their unique personality in a one-of-a-kind acrylic painting.

Starting from £80 (plus P+P), each custom portrait is hand-painted from a photo reference, making it a meaningful gift for pet owners, or a lovely way to remember a furry companion who has passed. A personalised pet portrait is a thoughtful keepsake to cherish for years to come.

Commissioning a custom pet portrait is simple! Read Amy’s step-by-step process below, and get in touch via email to begin your bespoke artwork.

  • "She portrayed the dogs personality perfectly"

  • "Amy is a very talented artist"

  • "The overall standard is particularly high"

  • "Amy offers consultation throughout"

My Process:

  • If you’d like to explore commissioning one of my Pet Portraits, please drop me an email at amyscreativeart@outlook.com or fill out my contact form.

  • I’ll provide a price quote based on the artwork size, prices start from £80 for A4. Larger sizes start from £100 for A3 and £130 for A2 (all prices are estimates, P+P charges will be added).

Please note, a 50% deposit is required to confirm the commission.

  • I work in acrylic, focussing on the face and chest area to capture life like details. I like to capture expression, particularly in the eyes, to bring out the pet’s personality and character and make the painting as lifelike as possible!

I can also add in a favourite toy, or a collar with their name if you wish, for a unique and personal touch.

  • I paint from reference photos, please send clear, high-quality photos of your pet’s face and chest. Ideally these photos need to be taken face on, and preferably outside on an overcast day for the best lighting.

Any additional detail shots of your pet are helpful, especially to capture the different features. Please send these to me at: amyscreativeart@outlook.com

  • Turnaround times for pet portrait commissions vary depending on the time of year and how busy I am. Usually they take 2-4 weeks from the time I receive your deposit and reference photos.

All artworks will be mounted and backed and presented in cellophane for protection. These can be posted, or collected from me if you are local to Helston, Cornwall.

With your permission, I may feature your pet’s painting on my website alongside the reference photo.
