These paintings start from £200 plus P+P, with a 50% deposit required to confirm the commission.
The final payment is paid after the customer has approved the portrait via email.
Payments are normally made via BACS or PayPal. I will supply my bank details one the customer has confirmed the commission again by email.

I work with a combination of watercolour paints and fine liner pen to create a ‘line and wash’ style original painting of your flowers in a finished size of 16×12 inches.
I like to paint these pieces face on to capture the whole bouquet. This style has a loose and natural feel whilst capturing the life-like delicate details of the flowers and plants.

I paint from reference photos, please send clear, high-quality images taken on the day by the photographer or florist capturing the arrangement whilst it’s looking its best. Ideally, it helps to have photos of the whole bouquet face on, as well as images capturing the close detail of the flowers.

All artworks will be mounted and backed and presented in cellophane for protection. These can be posted, or collected from me if you are local to Helston, Cornwall.
With your permission, I may feature the finished artwork on my website alongside the reference photo.

FAQs
What is ‘Line and Wash’?
Line and wash is a classic art technique combining drawing, usually in ink or fine liner, to create the structure and detail of the image. Then, a wash of watercolour is added over the top to bring in soft colour. The result is a beautiful mix of delicate lines and loose, washes, giving the piece both definition and softness - perfect for capturing flowers!
What are your prices?
Prices to paint full bouquets and flower arrangements start from £200 (plus P+P) for a 16x12 inches piece. Small pieces like hair garlands or buttonholes start from £100 (plus P+P).
A 50% deposit is required to confirm the commission, with the final amount payable before posting or upon collection.
What sizes do you offer?
Full bouquet sizes are 16x12 inches (approx. 406x305mm), and smaller hair garlands and buttonholes are 25x20cm. If you’d like an alternative size, please pop me an email.
All artwork is supplied with acid-free conservation mounts. The external mount measurements (for framing) are as follows:
Full bouquet: 20x16 inches
Buttonhole: 30x25.5cm
Can my artwork be framed?
I don’t currently offer framing services. If you’d like your finished artwork framing, I have some local recommendations, or you can use the external mount measurements to purchase a frame that will fit the finished piece.
Can I see the painting before it’s posted?
Of course! I am always happy to send you photos of your piece in progress, and can send a final image once the piece is finished.
How long is your turnaround time?
Turnaround times for commissions vary depending on the time of year and how busy I am. Usually they take 2-4 weeks from the time I receive your deposit and reference photos.
Can I commission a bouquet painting as a gift?
Yes, a bespoke watercolour painting of the brides bouquet makes a perfect wedding gift. A guest may also arrange the painting as a surprise. Contact me to discuss how we can make this special gift happen.
Looking for something else?
Amy is now accepting additional watercolour wedding commissions for delicate floral pieces, such as hair garlands and buttonholes. These can be added to a wedding bouquet commission or ordered individually.
Prices start from £100, with a 50% deposit required to secure your booking. The final payment is paid after the customer has approved the portrait via email.
